Treatment Options

Breast Cancer comes in many shapes and stages and there are many ways to treat it. Treatment options depend on the type of cancer it is, how far it has progressed and how fast it is growing. Often the best treatment is a combination of strategies. The treatment options used by the traditional Western oncologist will involve one or more of the following:

  • Surgery
  • Drug Therapy
  • Radiation Therapy
  • Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT)
  • Gene Therapy
  • Clinical Trials of New Cancer Treatments
