I'm Kathy, 46, dx in Jan '99 with Stage 2, positive nodes. Had A/C x2 then developed heart damage, took me off A, and continued with FMC x4, then Taxol x4. 33 rad txs, including neck, supraclavicular and of course axillary nodes. I had a lumpectomy. The tumor was est & progest positive. I have been on tamox for 14 months, but will undergo a D&C on Thurs, compliments of the tamox. So, I have stopped the tamox (doc doesnt know yet) Had a bone scan today for back, and too many places to count pain. My latest feelings are of being "ruined" I don't say that for sympathy, just to let you all know where I am. I am experiencing vaginal atrophy, also, which is very disconcerting to me. I like sex, or used to. I believe it is from the tamox, but am having trouble getting docs to fess up to it.
