My race is going to be used to raise money for breast cancer. My goal is to choose a facility in the lower 48 that is in a rural area and in need of funding for prevention and or care of cancer patients. I am really excited about this opportunity to raise money for a great cause. I will be using two sleds in the race. There is a sled bag on each sled that carries all of my things. The first sled will be in honor of those that have died or are currently in a battle with breast cancer. the second sled will be in honor of the survivors. I am going to be selling spots on the bags for $25. this will put the name of someone on the bag. The money raised will then be donated to a facility along with the bag. I am hoping to add 1500-2000 names per sled. I am also hoping to find corporate sponsors to match the donations received for each sled. I am extremely excited about this. I am very busy getting the info together. There is going to be a national ad campaign started to generate the donations. I am working with a CPA and an Attorney now to finalize legal issues.

I would like to know if you can recommend a facility in the lower states for the purpose of raising the money for them.? I am also going to be looking for survivors, men and women. I would like to feature several stories on my website as incentive. I really want to find a man that will be willing to do this as well.

Please let me know your interest in this and what ideas you might be able to help me with as well as some of the survivors that might like to help out.
