This is for all of you, and my 58 yr old mom with mets breast cancer. She was diagnoised in 95 with a small lump in her breast, had a right mastectomy, radiation, tamoxifen, the usual. 2 years later, it reappered as another small lump in almost the same area. That was removed, she did reconstructive surgery. In 99, it had mets to under her chestbone area. It has grown larger and smaller ever since. Shes tried all the chemos, adriamyacin, cytoxin, taxotere, 5-fu, gemzar, navelbine, xeloda, and naow she is on etoposide, and oral pill. Recently she found 2 small lumps on her colar bone area. I have put her on a detox system of strong doses of vitamin c, a and e, as well as coenzyme q-10, l-carnitine, and glutathione. There is pressure from teh pain from her tumor everynow and then, and the tumor is visible from her chest as it has pressed outward. Its quite scary, but I've read worse. As we know, it hasnt spread to her brain, liver or lungs. Last year, our oncologist ! suggested hospice. Of course we said no! And shes still here today, doing ok, and still cooking, watering plants and cracking jokes. Me and my family are not goin to give up, and I hope none of you do either! Love to you all!
