Soy has its pros and cons in general, its pros and cons specifically for
people w/cancer, and even has its pros and cons specifically for women
w/breast cancer. It appears helpful for some people and harmful to others
(particularly in large amounts). It has both proponents and opponents amongst
alternate cancer treatment. Unfortunately, views tend to be polarized.
Fermented soy products (miso, tamari, natto, and Haelan 951)
contain enormously more genistein and lack some of the negative
aspects of precipitated/processed soy products (tofu, bean curd,
textured vegetable protein). The best product is soy concentrate HAELAN 951
--about $1,800/mo if ordered by health practitioner or health food store.
Eat only organic non-GMO fermented soy products, in
moderation, and take extra pancreatic/digestive enzymes (pancreatin & bromelain).
Isoflavones (particularly genistein) can also be obtained
through cabbage-family vegetables and red clover. Saponin can be obtained through
ginseng, barberry & yucca. Phytosterols can be obtained through bee
pollen/royal jelly (assuming you're not allergic). Each of these soy
ingredients reportedly helps heal cancer.
